SRINAGAR: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Friday conducted extensive raids at six locations in Srinagar and Pulwama districts in connection with a disproportionate assets case involving senior officials of Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL).
Quoting sources, KDC reported that the raids targeted the Chief Financial Advisor and Executive Engineer Zahoor Ahmad of the Smart City project.
“The searches were carried out at six locations, including the Shalteng and Takanwari areas of Srinagar, as part of an investigation into allegations of financial irregularities and the accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income,” sources said.
Preliminary investigations have reportedly uncovered disproportionate assets worth crores.
The raids were ongoing at the time of reporting, and further details are awaited. (KDC)
