Congress expels 10 leaders in Haryana for indulging in anti-party activities

NEW DELHI: Congress on Monday expelled 10 leaders from the party for 6 years for indulging in anti-party activities.
“The disciplinary committee of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), with the approval of the Hon’ble Congress president, has expelled the following individuals from the party for a period of six years due to anti-party activities,” the party said in a statement.
The leaders include Chitra Sarwara, Satvinder Rana, Kapoor Singh Narwal and Virender Ghoghrian among others.
Meanwhile, BJP also expelled eight party leaders for a period of six years due to their decision to contest the upcoming Haryana assembly elections as independent candidates.
Among those expelled are notable figures such as former minister Ranjit Chautala and former MLA Devendra Kadyan. The complete list of expelled leaders includes Sandeep Garg from Ladwa, Jilaram Sharma from Assandh, Devendra Kadyan from Ganaur, Bachchan Singh Arya from Safidon, Ranjit Chautala from Rania, Radha Ahlawat from Meham, Naveen Goyal from Gurugram, and Kehar Singh Rawat from Hathin.
The Haryana assembly elections will be held on October 5 and the counting of votes will be on October 8
