The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially opened registrations for the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 examination. Interested candidates can apply online at csirnet.nta.ac.in starting December 9, 2024. The application window will remain open until December 30, 2024, with the last date for fee payment set for December 31, 2024.

About the Exam

The Joint CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 exam determines eligibility for:

• Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
• Appointment as Assistant Professor
• Admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities and colleges

The test will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode from February 16, 2025, to February 28, 2025. The exam duration is 180 minutes (3 hours) and covers the following subjects:

• Chemical Sciences
• Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences
• Life Sciences
• Mathematical Sciences
• Physical Sciences
