JPDCL Announces Power Outages Across Jammu

SRINAGAR: The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power outages in various areas of Jammu division between January 11 and 15. The outages are attributed to ongoing maintenance and infrastructure upgrades.

The Chief Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL Jammu, informed that the power supply to key areas, including Jhajjarkotli, Janipur, New Secretariat, Subash Nagar, Muthi, Rajinder Nagar, Roop Nagar, and adjoining areas, will be disrupted on January 12 from 8 am to 2 pm.

In addition, Rajouri Town, Thanamandi, Manjakote, Kotranka, and nearby areas will experience power cuts on the same day from 9 am to 2 pm. Other areas affected on January 12 include Dogra Hall, Rehari, Resham Ghar Colony, Bus Stand, Jewel, and adjoining regions from 8 am to 1 pm.

Further, power outages are scheduled for Salehar, Khour, Makhanpur, Kool, Kalian, and nearby areas on January 14 from 8 am to 3 pm. Similarly, Phallian, Ganseshuchak, Paraladpur, and nearby regions will face disruptions on January 11 from 8 am to 12 noon.

The Executive Engineer Elect Division-I, JPDCL Parade Jammu, reported that Patoli Morh and Hari Nagar will witness outages on January 11 and 12 from 10 am to 4 pm. Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer (Distribution), JPDCL O&M Circle Kathua, announced power cuts in Jakh, Jogpur, Raika-I, and nearby areas on January 15 from 10 am to 4 pm.

Other affected areas and timings include:

Badhori and its surroundings: January 12 and 15 from 9 am to 3 pm

Meen and nearby areas: January 11 from 9 am to 3 pm

Vijaypur Ist: January 15 from 10 am to 4 pm

Gowal and Sarore: January 12 from 8 am to 2 pm

Sehora and Industry-2: January 12 from 9:30 am to 3 pm

Naryanpur, Barnoti, and surrounding areas: January 11 and 12 from 8 am to 12 noon

Chack Phoolan and neighbouring areas: January 11 from 8 am to 3 pm

JPDCL has urged residents to plan their activities accordingly and assured them of efforts to minimise inconvenience caused by these essential power supply disruptions.
