SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of power shutdowns to facilitate stabilisation, maintenance, and improvement works across several areas in Kashmir. The details of the scheduled interruptions are as follows:
Amargarh-Arampora Line
To undertake twining and stabilisation of the 33KV Amargarh-Arampora line, power supply to Receiving Stations at Arampora, Panzipora, and Sher Colony will remain disrupted. Consequently, areas including Panzipora, Arampora, Sher Colony, and adjoining localities will experience outages from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM on January 11, 15, 18, and 21, 2025.
Magam-Kongamdara Line
Maintenance work on the 33KV Magam-Kongamdara line will result in power interruptions at the 33/11KV Receiving Stations in Kunzar and Dobhiwan. Power supply to Kunzar, Kralweth, Lalpora, Chichilora, Hard Aboora, and Dhobiwan will be affected on January 11, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Alasteng-Nagbal Line
Stabilisation and maintenance of the 33KV Alasteng-Nagbal line will necessitate a power shutdown, impacting Receiving Stations at Alasteng, Nagbal, Gadoora, and Tulbagh. Power supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Check, Gadoora, Tulbagh, and Chundina will be disrupted on January 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Shariefabad-Narbal Line
Stabilisation work on the 33KV Shariefabad-Narbal line will lead to outages at Receiving Stations in Narbal and Sanoor. The power supply to Narbal, Mazhama, Sanoor, Malpora, Kawoosa, Sozeith, Radbugh, and Lawaypora will be affected on January 9 and 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Shariefabad-Wadwan Line
For the 33KV Shariefabad-Wadwan line, shutdowns will impact Receiving Stations at Shariefabad, Soibugh, and Wadwan. Soibugh, Daharmuna, Wadwan, Russu, Prmus, Shariefabad, and Durbal areas will face power outages on January 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Delina-Wagoora Line
To complete the 33KV Kalantra Tap line works, the 33KV Delina-Wagoora line will be shut down. Receiving Stations at Sangrama, Wagoora, Kreeri, and Ichloo will be affected, disrupting power supply to Sangrama, Kreeri, Nowpora, and adjoining areas on January 11 and 13, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Residents in the affected areas are advised to plan accordingly and cooperate with the KPDCL to ensure smooth execution of these essential works.
