No significant weather activity in J-K till Jan 16: MeT

Srinagar, Jan 09: The Meteorological department today predicted no significant weather activity in Jammu and Kashmir till January 16.

An official of Meteorological Centre Srinagar said the weather will likely remain dry with cloudiness during till January 10 (evening/night).

On January 11, the weather will likely remain generally cloudy with light rain (in Jammu plains), while snow at isolated higher reaches of Jammu and Kashmir divisions, he said.

He also said there is a possibility of dry weather from January 12-14; while from January 15-16, it will be cloudy with light snow at isolated to scattered places of Jammu and Kashmir.

The official continued that cold wave condition will continue at isolated places, and advised tourists, travelers and transporters to follow advisories from administration and traffic department.
