Viral video: Bikers carry camel with ‘folded feet’, ‘tied’ on two-wheeler, netizens say ‘This is not India’ | Watch

A viral video of two men carrying camel, which normally weighs around 400-450 kg, on a bike has sparked myriad of reactions on social media. The video showed two men carrying a camel with folded legs, which were tied with a rope around its neck.

While many users reacted to the video with jokes many highlighted the extreme discomfort faced by the desert animal. Several called the treatment of camels ‘inhumane’.

Mint couldn’t confirm the date and exact location of the video.

“Its not funny. It’s cruel,” commented a user on the video which was shared on Instagram.

“Should be arrested [sic]”

Another user jokingly wrote, “Men to camel : chal teeno bhai jayenge maja aayega”

Another user expressed concern and commented, “Look at how they have folded its feet and tied hard unnaturally .like a luggage to forcefully fit in bike [sic]”

“I’m not sure the camel is enjoying the ride [sic]”

Another user wrote, “This is not India”

Furious over the act, another user wrote, “I want to see that camel throwing these men somewhere far [sic]”

“This is not in India, the roadside hoardings are in Arabic or some other Middle Eastern language [sic].”

“this is not India and can’t be saudi, some other arab country it is [sic],” commented another user.

The video has been shared widely on social media, with many users sharing hilarious reactions and expressing their curiosity about how the two men managed a triple ride with a camel on a motorcycle.

Whereas, a huge section of social media users criticised the act and called it a case of animal cruelty. Many demanded action from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Many users highlighted different language used on roadside hoardings and said that the incident didn’t happen in India.
