‘The Girlfriend’ teaser: Vijay Deverakonda turns narrator for Rashmika Mandanna’s upcoming film glimpse

We had previously reported that Rashmika Mandanna, who was recently seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, is teaming up with Chi La Sowdirector Rahul Ravindran for a film titled The Girlfriend. The makers of the film have now shared the film’s teaser.
The teaser was released by Rashmika’s Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade co-star Vijay Deverakonda who has also provided the voiceover for the teaser.
The teaser features a series of shots featuring Rashmika from the film in which she’s reportedly playing a college student. The film also stars Dheekshith Shetty alongside Rao Ramesh and Rohini.
The Girlfriend is presented by Allu Aravind and produced by Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni. Hesham Abdul Wahab is in charge of the film’s music while Krishnan Vasant is handling the cinematography and Chota K Prasad in charge of editing.
Meanwhile, Rashmika has a slew of films in the production stage. She will star alongside Dhanush in Sekhar Kammula’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Kubera and headline the Tamil-Telugu bilingual Rainbow. She also hasChhaava with Vicky Kaushal apart from teaming up with Salman Khan for AR Murugadoss’ Sikandar.She will also join the Maddock Supernatural Universe, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, in the romantic horror film Thama.
