Srinagar, Dec 11: Range Officer, Tangmarg /Gulmarg Range, was attached in the office of DFO Tangmarg on Wednesday for his alleged misconduct and misbehaviour with MLA of the area.
“In view of the instructions given by Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs Department, Javeed Ahmad Natkhan, Range Officer Gr. I, Tangmarg Range/Gulmarg Range is attached in the Office of DFO Special Division Tangmarg for his misconduct and misbehaviour with Hon’ble MLA of the area,” read an order, issued by Jammu and Kashmir Forest Department.
“A summary enquiry will be submitted by Conservator of Forests in two days without failure,” the order read further.
The MLA for the Gulmarg constituency is senior National Conference leader Farooq Ahmad Shah.
