PDP’s Para asks Ruhullah to explain if Dy CM is misleading public on special status resolution
Srinagar, Nov 15: After the Member of Parliament (MP) from Srinagar Aga Ruhullah Mehdi earlier today said that no one should misinterpret the resolution passed by the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Waheed Para this evening contested Mehdi’s assertion.
Tagging Mehdi’s official X-handle, Para wrote, the Deputy CM of J-K holds the authority to interpret resolution and that the Deputy CM in a recent interview asked the journalist not to link the resolution with Article-370.
In this context, Para said, MP Mehdi should explain if the Deputy CM is “complicit in misleading the public by insisting that the resolution is tied to Article 370, despite the glaring contradictions among key stakeholders involved?”
The PDP MLA from Pulwama also asked about the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah who earlier met Union Finance Minister in Delhi.
“No INC president or JKPCC president has a right to misinterpret the resolution passed by the J&K Legislative Assembly in the last session.”
