CM Omar Abdullah assures protesters of fair deal on reservation in six months

Srinagar, December 23- Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Monday assured the protesters who gathered outside his residence demanding a fair deal for open merit category candidates that the reservation issue will be resolved in six months time.

Earlier, a protest led by NC MP from Srinagar Aga Rohullah staged a noisy demonstration against Omar Government alleging it has not addressed the issue of reservation in right direction as the existing reservation was discriminatory against open merit category candidates.
