UPSC Assistant Programmer Recruitment 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Assistant Programmer Posts in the Central Bureau of Investigation, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions. There are 27 vacancies open for the mentioned position.

As mentioned in the official notification of UPSC the upper age limit for the mentioned posts is 30 years (age relaxation as per rules). Candidates selected for Assistant Programmer positions will be paid a monthly salary Level- 07 in the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC. The selection of applicants will be based on a Written Exam & Interview.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using the net banking facility of any bank or by using a Visa/Master/Rupay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI payment. No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates of any community.

Selection Process

The selection process for the above-mentioned posts will be based on interview. Applicants have to produce printouts of the online application and self-attested copies of the original documents/certificates and other items mentioned in the summon letter for the interview should be produced at the time of the interview.

Application Procedure of UPSC Assistant Programmer Recruitment 2024

Candidates are required to apply online only by using the website https://www.upsconline.nic.in. The applicant needs to register himself/herself first at the One Recruitment Application (ORA) platform, available on the Commission’s website, and then proceed to fill up the online application for the examination. ORA has to be registered only once in a lifetime. This can be done anytime throughout the year. If the candidate is already registered, he/she can proceed straightway to filling up the online application for the examination.

Steps to Apply

Step 1: Visit the Union Public Service Commission’s website at www.upsconline.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the “One Recruitment Application (ORA)” available on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill in the basic details like name, gender, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, mobile number, email ID, etc. to complete the registration process.
Step 4: Log in to the online application portal by entering your Email ID and Password/OTP.
Step 5: Fill out the application form carefully by entering applicants’ details, examination centre, photograph, signature, fee, etc.
Step 6: Upload the scanned copies of the required documents like photographs, signatures, etc.
Step 7: Make a payment of the online application fee to complete the application process.
Step 8: Finally submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
