Ration, utensils recovered from hideout in Shopian: Police

Shopian, Nov 17: Security forces on Sunday said they have busted a hideout in the Bujbrod Pehlipora forest area of Keller, in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

A senior police officer told News Vibes of India (NVI) that the operation conducted by joint teams of security forces including Army’s 44RR, 2 Rajput, 34RR, CRPF 14BN and Shopian Police, led to the recovery of ration supplies and utensils from the hideout, indicating its possible use as a shelter.

He said further investigations are underway to determine the hideout’s purpose and any potential links to terrorist activity in the area.
