Rebuild party’s grassroots structure: Mehbooba to PDP leaders, workers

Srinagar, Nov 19: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chief Mehbooba Mufti Tuesday chaired a key meet aimed at strengthening their party in Kashmir.

Mufti appreciated her MLAs for what she said was a dedicated roles they are playing to raise issues of critical importance including A-370 and 35A.

“Our MLAs have been instrumental in voicing the deep concerns of the people regarding the unilateral abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A. Their efforts remind us of the urgent need to continue this fight within legislative forums and through public outreach,” Mufti said as per an official handout.

Mufti also urged her leaders and workers to ‘rebuild the party’s grassroots structure and reach to every household in J-K,’ the handout read.

“We must ensure that PDP’s agenda of peace, development, and dignity reaches every doorstep,” she said.

“Our strength lies in our workers and their ability to connect with the people. Together, we can rebuild the party as a vehicle of hope and justice.”
