CM’s Advisor Nasir Aslam Wani blames PDP for ‘political instability’, ‘loss of Article 370′

Srinagar Nov 20: Advisor to chief minister J&K, Nasir AslamWani Wednesday criticized the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP), accusing it of triggering political instability in Jammu and Kashmir by aligning with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014.

“If PDP had not supported BJP in 2014, we wouldn’t have witnessed the abrogation of Article 370, nor the fallout that followed. The region has endured destruction for the past 10 years due to their decision,” Wani as per news agency KINS said.

He was talking to reporters in response to PDP’s claims that the National Conference (NC) has failed to bring about a resolution for the restoration of Article 370.

The PDP has consistently denied these allegations, maintaining that its coalition with BJP in 2014 was an effort to bring governance and stability to the region.
