Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 crosses US $ 300,000 mark at USA Box Office | Telugu Movie News

The success of films Baahubali series, Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar-Part 1- Ceasefire has proven the fact that there is a huge market for Telugu films in the United States of America. The country has become the biggest market for Telugu films over the last few years, as the language has become the 11th most spoken one. And with this, the stage is set for the next big Telugu film to create magic at the box office in US, and that is Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2- The Rule, which is slated to release on 5th December.

The film is a sequel to Allu Arjun’s National Award film Pushpa- The Rise which released in 2021. With almost a month to go for the release of the film, the advance booking for the film has opened in a big way, which just shows the craze for the film. As per Track BO, the film has already crossed the US $ 300,000 mark.
While advance booking is yet to open in India, in the US, the booking has opened in 606 locations, having sold nearly 11,000 tickets from 2325 shows and collecting a massive amount of US $ 315311 ( Rs 2.65 crore) for its premiere shows.
The film is also carrying a lot of expectations on its shoulders, as distributor Anil Thadani has paid almost Rs 200 crore for its North India distribution rights. The first installment has made Rs 106 crore from its Hindi version, while its India collection stood at Rs 267 crore.
Pushpa 2 also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil , Jagapathi Babu and Praskash Raj. The film will be clashing with Vicky Kaushal, Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan’s Chaava on 6th December.
