Altaf Bukhari expresses sympathy with Khanyar fire victims, urges admin to provide relief

Srinagar, Dec 06: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari Friday expressed heartfelt sympathy with families who lost their shelters in a devastated fire in Khanyar locality in Srinagar.

Bukhari urged administration to come to the rescue of affected families and provide immediate financial assistance to help them rebuild their homes.

“My heartfelt sympathies to the families who lost their homes in a fire incident in Khanyar, Srinagar, today. A mosque has also suffered damage in this incident. Thankfully, firefighters arrived promptly at the scene to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading to the nearby densely populated area. I urge the administration to provide immediate financial assistance and adequate compensation to the affected families to help them rebuild their homes,” Bukhari said on X.
