Eligibility Criteria of AMU Recruitment 2024

This section outlines the educational and professional qualifications required for each teaching post.

Post Graduate Teachers (PGT)

• Essential:
  • Master’s Degree in the relevant subject (e.g., Biology, Commerce, Mathematics, Physics) with at least 50% marks.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent degree.
• Desirable:
  • Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Proficiency in teaching in English, Hindi, and Urdu.

Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT)

• Essential:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks.
  • B.Ed. or equivalent degree.
  • Qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET).
• Desirable:
  • Working knowledge of computer applications.
  • Ability to teach in English, Hindi, and Urdu.

Primary Teachers (PRT)

• Essential:
  • Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • OR Senior Secondary with 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • OR Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.
  • Qualified in CTET/UPTET.
• Desirable:
  • Knowledge of computer applications.
  • Proficiency in teaching in English, Hindi, and Urdu.

Application Process of AMU Recruitment 2024

Candidates need to complete both online submission and offline submission for their applications to be considered valid.

1. Online Submission:
   • Visit the official AMU Career Portal: https://careers.amuonline.ac.in.
   • Complete the online application form.
   • Pay the processing fee of ₹500 (exempted for PwD candidates).
2. Hard Copy Submission:
   • After submitting the online form, print the application.
   • Append your signature and paste a recent passport-size photograph.
   • Attach self-attested copies of the required documents:
     • Educational Certificates (High School, Intermediate, Graduation, Post-Graduation).
     • Experience Certificates.
     • CTET/UPTET certificate (if applicable).
   • Send the completed form via post to:
