Key Responsibilities

Psychiatric Social Workers at the IISc Wellness Centre will:

• Provide counseling services to individuals facing psychological challenges.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with mental health teams, including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners.
• Maintain detailed case records and prepare reports.
• Conduct awareness training on mental health for the IISc community.
• Be available on campus for emergencies as well as on all working days and Saturdays.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements to apply for the Psychiatric Social Worker position:

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential: M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work.
• Desirable: At least 1 year of relevant experience.

2. Age Limit
