Eligibility Criteria of BEL Contract Engineer Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification

• Electronics Engineers:
  • Full-time BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Industrial Electronics, or Electronics & Telecommunication (E&T) from a UGC-recognized university/institution.
• Mechanical Engineers:
  • Full-time BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a UGC-recognized university/institution.
• Minimum Percentage:
  • 55% for General/EWS/OBC categories.
  • Pass class for SC/ST/PwBD categories.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: 30 years as of November 1, 2024.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD: 5 years (in addition to the category relaxation)

Additional Requirements

• Candidates must possess their final degree certificate indicating class and percentage of marks.
• Proof of specialization in the qualifying degree (if not mentioned) must be provided.

Selection Process

Steps:

1. Written Test:
   • The test will be conducted in Pimpri-Chinchwad/Pune.
   • Shortlisted candidates based on written test scores will proceed to the next stage.
2. Interview:
   • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
   • Details of the venue for both written tests and interviews will be communicated via the registered email ID.
