The Indian Army invites applications from unmarried male and female candidates under the Sports Quota for the Direct Entry Havildar and Naib Subedar posts. Candidates must meet any of the following criteria:

• Medalist in Junior/Senior National Competitions.
• Represented India in international events.
• Medalist in Khelo India Youth Games/University Games.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 17 ½ years.
• Maximum Age: 25 years.
• Date of Birth Block: Candidates born between 31 March 2000 and 1 April 2007 are eligible.

Selection Process of Indian Army Recruitment 2024

The selection process includes the following stages:

1. Sports Trials: Evaluates candidates’ performance in their respective sports discipline.
2. Physical Fitness Test: Includes:
   • 1.6 Km Run:
     • Male: 5 minutes 45 seconds.
     • Female: 8 minutes.
   • Long Jump and High Jump (for female candidates).
3. Medical Examination: Conducted by an Army medical team at the trial site.
