Asif Ali, Anaswara Rajan’s Rekhachithram gets a release date

We had previously reported that actors Asif Ali and Anaswara Rajan are teaming up for a Malayalam film directed by Jofin T Chacko. Now, the latest is that the film, titled Rekhachithram, will release in theatres on January 6.

Asif announced the news on his social media handles with a poster that features him as a cop, and Anaswara as a nun.

Rekhachithram, which went on floors on May 3, also features Manoj K Jayan in a pivotal role. The extended cast of the film includes Siddique, Indrans, Zarin Shihab, Bhama Arun, Megha Thomas, Nishanth Sagar, Harisree Ashokan, Sreekanth Murali, and Jagadish among others.

Based on a story written by Jofin and Ramu Sunil, the film has a screenplay written by John Manthrikal. With music by Mujeed Majeed of Kishkindha Kaandam fame, the film has cinematography by Appu Prabhakar and editing by Shameer Muhammed
