Bihar news: Kishanganj DEO Nasir Hussain issues order to teach Urdu in private schools

District Education Officer Nasir Hussain issued an order on 31 December to teach Urdu in private schools in Bihar’s Kishanganj, aiming to teach the language to the local children.

Though in his order, he didn’t mention that it is mandatory for all students. He added that those schools, recognized by CBSE Board,  should ensure the necessary arrangements for the study of Urdu to the willing students.

The order said, as quoted by ANI, “All the private schools in Kishanganj district, recognized by CBSE Board, are requested to ensure the necessary arrangements for the study of Urdu to the willing students and provide the relevant compliance report to Bihar Education Project Office, Kishanganj.”
