CRPF constable dies in south Kashmir’s Anantnag

Srinagar, Dec 6: A CRPF constable died after he fell unconscious in the Mattan area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Quoting officials, news agency GNS reported that a CRPF man who was posted at Mattan fell unconscious last night and was immediately evacuated to PHC Mattan for treatment.

Preliminary investigation suggested that the constable, identified as Azad Ahmad Najar, a resident of Sheikhpora Uttersoo, died of cardiac arrest.

Police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up, said an official. (GNS)
