Adept weapons are among the most coveted rewards in Destiny 2‘s Trials of Osiris, offering unique stat bonuses for both PvE and PvP, making them highly desirable. These weapons serve as status symbols and come with Adept Mods that enhance specific stats, providing an advantage over standard variants. Trials Adept weapons rotate on a weekly basis, meaning there’s only one particular weapon available each week. To obtain these weapons, players must achieve seven consecutive victories in Trials of Osiris matches without any losses, a challenging feat that requires exceptional skill and strategy. Successfully completing this challenge grants access to the Lighthouse, where players can claim their weekly Adept weapon along with a random Adept mod.

In a recent blog post, Bungie noted the positive impact of the modifications introduced since Season 21 to Trials, which include revisions to Passages and substantial increases in post-game rewards. Then it addresses a new noteworthy change involving the Passage of Persistence: now, when playing as a trio, losses will no longer erase wins, allowing players to keep their wins even after a loss, provided they complete the match. This means players only need to achieve seven wins to earn the weekly Adept weapon drop, regardless of their number of losses. However, quitting a match will still result in a win being subtracted, meaning that players must finish matches to benefit from this change.
What to Expect from Trials in the Future
