Donald Trump in US elections 2024 victory speech: Only Elon Musk can do this …
It seems almost certain that Donald Trump is set for his second tenure as the US President. Addressing his supporters during his first victory speech, Trump thanked and expressed his appreciation for Tesla CEO and the world’s richest man Elon Musk. Acknowledging his huge support during his campaign, Trump called him a “new star”. Addressing the crowd, he went all out in praise of Elon Musk.
“A star is born: Elon”
Trump was thanking members of his family, his campaign team and JD Vance, the candidate for Vice President of the US, the supporters started chanting Musk’s name. When the crowd asked Trump about the owner of X – who boosted Trump in recent weeks – he described Musk as “an amazing guy” and noted that they had spent time together at the event.
“We have a new star; a star is born: Elon,” Trump said, highlighting Musk’s involvement.
“He’s an amazing guy. We were sitting together tonight. You know, he spent two weeks in Philadelphia, in different parts of Pennsylvania, campaigning,” he added.
Donald Trump praises SpaceX rocket launch
Trump then recounted a recent story about a dramatic SpaceX rocket launch, where the rocket booster performed an impressive feat, landing back in the arms of the SpaceX launch tower just minutes after liftoff.
“He (Elon) is a super genius. We have to protect our geniuses, we don’t have many of them,” Trump said while praising Musk’s work.
“You know, he sent the rocket up two weeks ago and he sent the rocket up and I saw it coming down…And I’m thinking Elon can do this, it must be Elon. I thought it was a space-age movie but the spaceship came down so gently and wrapped those arms around it just like you hold your baby at night and it was a beautiful thing to see and I called Elon…who else can do that? Can Russia do it? No. Can China do it? No. Can the United States do it other than you? No.”
“But he can do that. And I said ‘That’s why I love you, Elon,” Trump said about Musk.
Donald Trump says Musk’s Starlink “a lot of lives”
Trump also praised Musk’s Starlink technology for helping the internet to those affected by recent hurricanes in North Carolina by quickly restoring internet access.
“He had it there so fast it was incredible. He saved a lot of lives,” Trump said.
Musk says people voted “for change”
Musk has been backing Trump for a return to the White House. He quickly became a star campaigner for Trump following a failed assassination attempt against the former US president at a rally. Musk essentially campaigned for Trump both offline and online, even speaking highly for Trump in interviews and podcasts.
As Trump’s victory looks almost certain, Musk has shared several posts praising people who voted “for change”.

He also shared an edited image of himself with a sink in White House, reminiscing his first day at Twitter headquarters when he carried a sink in the office.
“Let that sink in,” the post read.
In a separate post, Musk shared an image of a rocket launch with a caption, “The future is gonna be fantastic.”
