Good Habits, A Life They Shape
ER AHMAD JUNAID
In the quiet dawn, as the sun ascends,
A life of purpose quietly begins.
With every step, a path is laid,
By habits formed, the future is made.
A smile at sunrise, a morning prayer,
Gratitude whispers, a heart laid bare.
A stretch, a walk, fresh air to breathe,
Health and vigor, the gifts they bequeath.
Hands that toil, but minds that rest,
Balance in effort, a life well-blessed.
Words spoken kindly, actions that care,
Build bridges of trust, a love to share.
Books we read, the wisdom we seek,
Shape the thoughts, the words we speak.
Learning daily, with open minds,
In growth and knowledge, peace we find.
A meal prepared with mindful grace,
Nourishment served, at its own pace.
The body thrives when well it’s fed,
With wholesome food and rest well-spread.
Patience guides when storms arise,
A steady heart, a gaze on skies.
Through trials and troubles, strong we stand,
With habits forged like iron in hand.
Each habit a seed, in time it grows,
Into a tree, whose fruit life shows.
So nurture them well, and guard their bloom,
For good habits light the darkest gloom.
Life’s beauty rests in the steps we take,
The choices, the vows, the paths we make.
Good habits, the compass, the steady guide,
Through life’s vast sea, a rising tide.
