Guwahati Masters | Sathish wins his second BWF title

India’s K. Sathish Kumar, seeded three, clinched his second Super 100 singles title when he won the Guwahati Masters badminton tournament on Sunday, with a 21-17, 21-14 win over Zhu Xuan Chen of China in the men’s final.

However, Anmol Kharb lost to Cai Yan Yan of China 21-14, 13-21, 19-21 in the women’s singles summit clash. India won the women’s doubles crown as top-seeded Ashwini Ponnappa-Tanisha Crasto duo defeated Li Hua Zhou and Wang Zi Meng of China 21-18, 21-12 in the summit clash to defend its title.
