OnePlus is all set to launch a new smartphone in India. The smartphone will be a new addition to the company’s Nord series. The upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite will succeed the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G in the country. The company has teased the smartphone via its social media handle and Amazon listing has revealed some of the key specifications of the smartphone.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite India launch
OnePlus has announced the upcoming launch of a new Nord-series smartphone in the country through an X post. The handset is set to be unveiled at 7:00 pm IST on June 18. Although the company did not confirm the name of the phone, an Amazon microsite revealed that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite will be revealed on June 18.
The Amazon listing confirms that the phone will be available in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration and Mega Blue colour option. It is expected that OnePlus will make the Nord CE 4 Lite available in a few other colours, as well as different RAM and storage options.
OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G price, specifications (expected)
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G specifications and potential pricing were leaked in the past. It is rumoured to be priced at less than Rs. 20,000 in the country. The phone is expected to feature a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and may run on either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC or Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
The camera setup is likely to include a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth camera. Additionally, it is rumoured to come with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging. Other leaked specifications consist of an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and the Android 14 operating system.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite 5G is expected to receive two years of OS updates and three years of security updates. It is also rumoured to be a rebranded version of the China-exclusive Oppo K12x.
