NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated Mohammed Yunus, who earlier in the day took oath as the chief advisor to Bangladesh interim government.Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Modi said, "My best wishes to Professor Muhammad Yunus on the assumption of his new responsibilities."PM Modi also expressed his concern regarding the safety of minorities, including Hindus, in Bangladesh."We hope for an early return to normalcy, ensuring the safety and protection of Hindus and all other minority communities.
