HP India foresees AI PCs dominating 50% of portfolio in three years – Technology News

HP India anticipates that by the end of 2024, at least 10% of its overall portfolio will consist of AI-based personal computers (PCs), with expectations for this figure to rise to 50% within the next three years, Vineet Gehani, senior director of personal systems at HP India told FE.

Gehani was speaking at the sidelines of the launch of HP’s latest AI PCs. “We think that the business customers, the consumers are all really also looking for the next level in their PCs,” he said. “They are looking to upgrade, they are looking to use better, everybody is looking to become more productive and more efficient and more creative with the use of these PCs,” he added.

These laptops aim to provide a superior PC experience, particularly for large enterprises, startups, and retail consumers.

HP India is also confident that the inclusion of AI in PCs will meet the evolving demands of business customers and consumers, who are increasingly seeking more productive, efficient, and creative tools.

“The market is also turning positive and HP is going faster than market so that’s helping grow our market share also. Now with the AI PCs and the big opportunity that they present should only help expedite that growth,” he said.
