The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the deadline for fresh admissions for the July 2024 academic session. Candidates can now apply for the Online Distance Learning (ODL) and online programs until October 15, 2024. Previously, the last date for registration was September 30, 2024.
IGNOU announced the news on its official X (formally Twitter) account.It tweeted, ‘Extension of last date for July, 2024 Fresh Admission till October 15, 2024, in respect of all programmes offered in ODL/Online Mide for July 2024 session (except for semester based and certificate programs).

IGNOU July 2024 fresh admission: Steps to apply
Candidates can follow these steps to register for IGNOU July admissions 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU, i.e., ignou.ac.in, or visit ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in and ignouiop.samarth.edu.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the registration link and register yourself.
Step 3: Login to your account and fill in the application form.
Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit your application.
Step 5: Take a printout of it for future reference.
