Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant‘s wedding was the lavish celebration of the year. Actress Janhvi Kapoor, who dazzled at the event, recently shared how much she enjoyed the wedding and humorously mentioned that she didn’t share any cheesecake with Ananya Panday.
Calling Anant and Radhika’s wedding ‘just a lot of fun,’ Janhvi explained that while the event might have seemed like just a gathering of actors dancing, there was a ‘lot of love in the room.’ Janhvi noted that everyone there was truly supportive of the couple’s love story, which she has seen grow over the years.“It just was very emotional. For me at least to see the celebration of their union. It was a beautiful, beautiful wedding,” Janhvi told Bollywood Hungama.
Meanwhile, a video of Janhvi recently went viral, showing her dancing with her boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya on stage during a performance by global music sensation Rema. They danced to his hit song “Calm Down,” with Shikhar holding Janhvi close as they enjoyed the moment. Janhvi looked stunning in a golden lehenga choli, while Shikhar wore a sequined red kurta. Later, Ananya Panday joined them, placing her arms on their shoulders and dancing along.
Earlier, at Radhika Merchant’s bridal shower, Janhvi described it as a lot of fun. She shared with Mashable India, “It wasn’t last minute, but we thought it would be more intimate, and it was. At the last minute, I realized it couldn’t be basic, so we all started panicking.”
Janhvi’s boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya, and Anant Ambani also attended the bridal shower. When asked if they gatecrashed the event, Janhvi responded, “No, we planned it. We are very needy as a friend group and always need to have each other.”
On the work front, Jahnvi Kapoor is set to star in ‘Devara’ alongside Jr. NTR, directed by Koratala Siva, with Saif Ali Khan as the main antagonist. The film is set to release on October 10, 2024.
