‘Jigra’ box office collection Day 8: Alia Bhatt starrer records lowest earnings on second Friday |

Jigra‘,starring Alia Bhatt in the lead, continues to struggle at the box office as it enters its second week. The film recorded its lowest collection to date on its second Friday.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, ‘Jigra’ earned approximately Rs 1.15 crore nett across all languages on Day 8, marking the lowest figure recorded since its release.
The film, which also features Vedang Raina in a supporting role, had a lukewarm first week, grossing an estimated Rs 22.45 crore nett. Of this, the Hindi version contributed around Rs 22.24 crore, while the Telugu version added approximately Rs 21 lakh. The total box office earnings for the film now stands at an estimated Rs 23.60 crore nett.’Jigra’ began its run with a debut collection of Rs 4.55 crore. Despite modest growth over the weekend, it earned Rs 6.55 crore on Saturday and Rs 5.5 crore on Sunday. Throughout the working week, the Vasan Bala directorial maintained a steady pace, with daily earnings ranging between Rs 1.25 crore to Rs 1.65 crore.
Amidst reports that this is one of Alia’s lowest film collections in her career, the actress has seemingly moved on to her next project. The actress is currently in Kashmir, shooting for her upcoming spy film, ‘Alpha’. On Friday, she shared photos on social media, capturing her time in the scenic locale.
Directed by Shiv Rawail and co-starring Sharvari, the film is an addition to YRF’s spy universe, which includes Shah Rukh Khan‘s ‘Pathaan’, Salman Khan‘s ‘Tiger’, and Hrithik Roshan‘s ‘WAR’. The film is scheduled for release on December 25.
