Mumbai: Lupin Digital Health, a wholly owned subsidiary of pharmaceutical company Lupin Limited, has announced a collaboration with Europe-based Medicover Hospitals to provide state-of-the-art post-operative rehabilitation and care for cardiac patients in India.
As part of the partnership, Medicover Hospitals will leverage Lupin Digital Health’s Digital Therapeutics (DTx) platform, Lyfe. The platform, licensed as a Class C Medical Device by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO), aims to accelerate cardiac care services and improve engagement between patients and their medical care teams.
Sidharth Srinivasan, CEO of Lupin Digital Health, said, “The post-discharge phase of cardiac rehab has historically been a challenge, with many patients experiencing lapses in care. This partnership is critical in addressing the issue of non-adherence by patients.”
Dr. Sharath Reddy, Executive Director and Senior Interventional Cardiologist at Medicover Group of Hospitals, added, “Through our partnership with Lyfe by Lupin Digital Health, we aim to extend comprehensive in-home cardiovascular care. Together, we will address critical gaps in post-discharge care.”
