Bhaarath and Niranjan with Lokesh Kanagaraj

Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj is back in the producer’s chair for a new Tamil film. Titled Mr Bhaarath the film will mark the acting and directing debut of YouTubers Bhaarath and Niranjan known for their quirky, comedy videos channel Finally. Lokesh will present and produce the film through his G Squad banner.
The makers also released a five-minute promo video on Wednesday featuring Bhaarath, Niranjan, and Lokesh. Apart from Lokesh, the film will also be produced by Sudhan Sundaram and Jagadish Palanisami. The Vikram filmmaker had previously presented Sundeep Kishan’s Michael and Vijay Kumar’s Fight Club.
Samyuktha Viswanathan has been cast as the female lead in Mr Bhaarath, which also stars Bala Saravanan, Nidhi Pradeep, R Sunder Rajan, Linga, and Adithya Kathir. The technical crew comprises music composer Pranav Muniraj, cinematographer Om Narayan, editor Dhivakar Dennis and art director Bhavna Govardan.
Meanwhile, Lokesh is also producing the upcoming film Benz starring Raghava Lawrence in the lead role. Remo fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan is directing the film which is said to be a part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe comprising Kaithi, Vikram and Leo. Lokesh, on the other hand, is helming Coolie which stars Rajinikanth in the lead role, alongside Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Sundeep Kishan and Shruti Haasan.
