Railway Recruitment 2024: Apply for Level 2-5 posts under sports quota from November 11 : Valley Vision

NEW DELHI: The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, has announced vacancies for 21 posts under Levels 2, 3, 4, and 5 as part of its recruitment drive for 2024. This recruitment is specifically being carried out under the sports quota, offering an exciting opportunity for talented athletes across various disciplines. Eligible candidates can apply for these posts starting from November 11, 2024, with the last date for submission being December 11, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria and Application Process
Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website www.rrcnr.org. The application process will be open for a month, with the trials for the sports quota posts expected to take place in mid-February 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one position will need to submit separate applications for each post.
Age and Educational Qualifications
The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 25 years, and there will be no age relaxation for reserved categories. Educational qualifications required for the different levels are as follows:
• Level 4 and Level 5: Graduation in any discipline.
• Level 2 and Level 3: 12th pass.
For the Clerk cum Typist position, candidates must also have a typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

Salary and Application Fees
The pay scales for the various levels are as follows:
• Level 4: Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100
• Level 5: Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300
• Level 3: Rs 19,990 to Rs 63,200
• Level 2: Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100
The application fee for candidates is Rs 500, while those from SC, ST, Women, Minority, and Economically Backward Classes are required to pay only Rs 250.
