Salman Khan’s father and veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has firmly dismissed any connection between the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique and the Bollywood superstar. In an interview with ABP News, Salim Khan shared the family’s perspective on the heightened security concerns surrounding Salman, addressing the implications of Siddique’s recent assassination.
Over the past year, Salman has faced growing death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, a situation that has worsened since Siddique’s murder.The killers of Baba Siddique have reportedly claimed affiliations with the Bishnoi gang, intensifying concerns for Salman’s safety.
During the interview, Salim Khan was asked about reports linking Baba Siddique’s death to his closeness with Salman Khan. He expressed the family’s disbelief in such claims, stating that they do not see any connection between the two. He explained that, even if Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang is involved in the murder, it likely stems from a separate issue, specifically a property dispute, and has nothing to do with Salman. The veteran screenwriter emphasized the family’s confusion over how this connection was drawn.

In response to the ongoing threats, security around Salman Khan’s residence has been significantly tightened. The actor’s family is under immense stress due to the growing restrictions on Salman’s movements. Earlier today, a fresh threat added to the tension when the Mumbai Traffic Police received a message demanding Rs 5 crore from Salman, triggering a Crime Branch investigation.
The message, received via the traffic control room’s WhatsApp helpline, warned, “Don’t take it lightly. If Salman Khan wants to stay alive and end his enmity with Lawrence Bishnoi, he will need to pay Rs 5 crore. If the money is not given, Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique’s.”

Baba Siddique, aged 66, was tragically shot dead by three assailants outside his son Zeeshan Siddique‘s office in the Nirmal Nagar area of Mumbai. As the investigation into Siddique’s murder continues, the safety concerns around Salman Khan remain critical.
