It’s been raining updates from Suriya 45, Tamil superstar Suriya’s upcoming film with actor-director RJ Balaji. A day after announcing that superstar Trisha has joined the cast, the makers on Sunday (December 15) announced that actors Indrans and Swasika have joined the cast of the film.

The film’s production banner, Dream Warrior Pictures, shared the news on their social media handles.

Suriya 45, which went on floors in the last week of November, is bankrolled by SR Prabu and SR Prakash Babu of Dream Warrior Pictures.

With cinematography by GK Vishnu, the film has music scored by Sai Abhyankkar of ‘Katchi Sera’ and ‘Aasa Kooda’ fame. It is to be noted that Abhyankkar replaced AR Rahman in the project, amidst speculations that Rahman might take a break from composing music for a year.

A prolific name in Malayalam cinema, Indrans has over the years become one of the most sought-after character artists in Kerala. Suriya 45 marks his third film in Tamil after 2005’s Aadum Koothu and 2012’s Nanban.

Swasika, an actor with over 40 credits in Tamil and Malayalam, has become the talk of the town for her stellar performance opposite ‘Gethu’ Dinesh in Lubber Pandhu.

Last seen in Kanguva, Suriya has teamed up with Karthik Subbaraj for Suriya 44 which also stars Pooja Hegde, Jayaram, Joju George and Karunakaran in pivotal roles.
