Tera Yaar Hoon Main and Splitsvilla 5 fame Nitin Chauhaan passes away at 36; close friend shares details |

Actor Nitin Chauhaan, who was last seen in the TV show Tera Yaar Hoon Main has left the industry in shock as he passed away today (November 7) morning. The cause of his demise was determined to be death by suicide. Times Of India TV exclusively got in touch with the actor’s close friend Kuldeep who further detailed about what had happened. The actor was only 36 years old.
Nitin’s friend shared, “We came to know today morning when his father and sister called us revealing that Nitin had passed away and they mentioned that the cause of death was suicide. We are equally shocked as he was going to come next month to Delhi and we had plans of going to Khatu Shyam ji’s temple together.”
He further shared, “Right now we are sitting with his family here, his father has come to Mumbai to bring his mortal remains to Delhi. We are also waiting for him to come here. Uncle’s flight is at 10 pm so mostly by 4-5 am they will arrive. Last month, Nitin had made plans to go to Rajasthan and he would be here every few months. He has been our life, we have so many memories with him. For all our trips, Nitin would make sure that he drove us and kept us comfortable.”
Kuldeep shared that he wasn’t aware that Nitin was going through something, that he took such a huge step, “I just wish he would have called me once before doing this then I would have stopped him. He never mentioned anything, we used to share everything with each other and there were no financial issues. He used to always tell us that come to Mumbai, we had come there once then he had come here when his niece was born. Now it is all memories.”
The actor is survived by his parents and sister. He has been a part of shows like Splitsvilla 5, Dadagiri, Supercops vs Supervillains, Tera Yaar Hoon Main and Crime Patrol.
