UGC NET December 2024 notification soon: The National Testing Agency (NTA) plans to release the official notification for the UGC NET December 2024 session shortly. The preceding December session notification was published on September 30, 2023, and the results of the June 2024 session were announced recently on October 17, 2024.
The awaited UGC NET 2024 December notification will include comprehensive details about the exam, covering eligibility criteria, key dates, the application process, instructions on admit cards, the exam pattern, syllabus, and subject list, among other essential information.

In previous years, the registration dates for the UGC NET December sessions have varied. Here is an overview of the registration start dates for the past five UGC NET December sessions:

UGC NET June 2024 Exam: Overview of results

The NTA previously declared the UGC NET June 2024 results on October 17, 2024. For this session, a total of 1,121,225 candidates registered, with 684,224 of them appearing for the exam. Among the participants, 4,970 candidates qualified for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), 53,694 candidates qualified for Assistant Professor only, and 112,070 candidates qualified for PhD eligibility only.
The UGC NET June 2024 examination was conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) format on several dates, specifically August 21 to 23 and 27 to 30, as well as from September 2 to 5. The examination was held across two shifts each day, with shift 1 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
