The recent episode of Monday Night Raw was filled with astonishing action and several promo segments filled the night provoking loud cheers from fans. Rhea Ripley opened the night, Cody Rhodes faced off against Gunther ahead of their Crown Jewel match, The War Raiders finally returned to Raw, and several high-octane matches were booked for the night.

WWE Raw October 14 results and highlights

Cody Rhodes made a stirring return, engaging in a heated face-off with Gunther, while Rhea Ripley stirred up drama backstage. In the Women’s Tag Team Championship match, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill retained their titles against Damage CTRL. Kofi Kingston faced a brutal defeat at the hands of Bron Breakker, and R-Truth secured an upset victory over The Miz despite distractions.
Rhea Ripley kicked off Monday Night Raw

Rhea Ripley stormed to the ring. She said that she would reclaim the Women’s World Championship, which she had never lost. She called out Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, daring them to face her. Instead, Tiffany Stratton interrupted, delivering a warning from Nia Jax. Ripley dismissed Stratton saying he did not have time for the Money in the Bank winner. Morgan and Rodriguez blindsided both women. Rodriguez slammed Ripley and Stratton, while Morgan struck Stratton with her Money in the Bank briefcase.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c’s) vs. Damage CTRL

Damage CTRL’s Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane had a Women’s Tag Team Championship title shot on the recent episode of Monday Night Raw. Jade Cargill started strong against Sky, overpowering her before Bianca Belair tagged in. The duo dominated with double-team moves, but Damage CTRL fought back with Kairi Sane’s timely tag.
Both teams traded fast-paced moves in the action-packed match. In the end, Belair delivered a KOD to Sky after interference from Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, securing the victory for her team despite the intense back-and-forth action throughout the match.
Result: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair retain the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
World Tag Team Championship Tournament (First Round Match): Alpha Academy vs. War Raiders

War Raiders finally made their WWE return and immediately entered the World Tag Team Championship Tournament. Ivar started against Otis with quick strikes, but Otis fought back with a powerful clothesline. Akira Tozawa tagged in but was quickly knocked out by The War Raiders. After a series of double-team moves, The War Raiders finished Tozawa with the Fallout to secure the victory.
Result: War Raiders with the win.
Cody Rhodes and Gunther face-off

Cody Rhodes entered to a warm reception. The Undisputed WWE Champion reflected on his rich wrestling history and his personal journey. Gunther joined him extending his respect but he warned Rhodes to resolve his issues with Kevin Owens. Rhodes fired back, reminding Gunther that he’s beaten legendary champions before. They ended with a tense handshake as they set the stage for their future showdown in Crown Jewel 2024.
Kofi Kingston vs. Bron Breakker

The match began with Kofi Kingston aggressively attacking Bron Breakker. However, Breakker quickly gained control and overpowered him with hard shoulder tackles and corner whips. Kingston fought back with quick strikes and an SOS, but Breakker avoided Trouble in Paradise. After catching Kingston mid-air with a suplex, Breakker delivered a massive Spear to secure the win.
Result: Bron Breakker with the win.
R-Truth vs. The Miz

The bell rang, and R-Truth hyped up the crowd, offering a handshake to The Miz. After some tension, Miz shook his hand, and R-Truth danced. Suddenly, a Wyatt Sicks logo appeared and The Final Testament came out. Miz was distracted and R-Truth seized the moment and rolled Miz up for the win.
Result: R-Truth defeated Miz.
Tag Team Match: Rhea Ripley and Tiffany Stratton vs. Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez

Rhea Ripley got the opportunity to settle the dust to respond to the attack by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez earlier. She joined hands with Ms. Money in the Bank, Tiffany Stratton in a tag Team Match. Rhea Ripley started off strong, slamming Liv Morgan and exchanging intense strikes.
After some interference, Raquel Rodriguez entered the fight and dominated Stratton with power moves. When Ripley and Morgan tagged back in, Ripley took control, hitting Morgan with a Riptide. However, Rodriguez interrupted the pin. As Ripley and Rodriguez battled outside the ring, Nia Jax suddenly attacked Ripley from behind, disrupting the match.
Result: Rhea Ripley and Tiffany Stratton win via disqualification.
